Collar Necklace

        So as this is the first post I thought I'd give you a tip on how to make a cosplay piece from old clothes. Today's item is a collar. These collars are seen on steampunk and sexy bunny girls. I am not telling you how to do the bow, that will be in the next post how to make  your own bow, this one is just the collar piece.

What you need:
Scissors
Old button down shirt

        Now if you feel the shirt you can feel a bump in it turns into a collar. Often you can see it. Button the top button so it's a little easier to manage. Using that transition you can cut right under it. Don't worry about getting it right the first time, you can always trim it back if it's too long, but you can't fit it if it's too short.
        Once cut out it's done, unless you want to dye it. If you're going for a steampunk look I would recommend dying it a tea color.
